Corine Nell McClain

Please  accept our condolences on the passing of Nell. We just found out a couple of days ago. We have only known
her since Jan. 2012. My mother and father, Eva and Merlin Barnes, lived at Heartland of Peoria for a short time. My father
passed away at Heartland on Feb.3 and went to heaven to help get ready for Nell's coming.

My mom was released from Heartland the end of Mar. The most enjoyable moment I have of Nell is she use to call me
her boyfriend.  She wasn't eating her food, so I made a deal with her. She eats some food and I will take her the
long way back to her room.

Mom and I knows  my dad is taking care of Nell in heaven for your family.

I will always cherish the many fond memories of Nell McCalin and her faimily. I'm relecting on the many times that I sat at her dinner table on Sunday and throughout the week for some great family dinners. And yes she did make the VERY BEST PEACH COBBLER in the world.  I know that time bring about a change in all things, a void  in my life is now with the homegoing of Nell.  I will always remember her giving of herself so unselfishly to God, church, family and community.  I used to get my life with her little sayings one in partcular that the McClain knows what I'm talking about (smiile).  Rememebr Tina, and Vicky "You almost made me" and I will keep it at that (smile).  

I know that their is a serious reunion in Heaven going on now.  I will never ever forget your Mother and your family.  Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Weeping may endureth for a night but joy, joy joy cometh on in the morning.

     

I really enjoyed knowing Nell.  She always had a story for me about her Ernest and I loved everyone of them.
I will miss her smile.  She made the best peach cobbler in the world.  My prayers go out to you all...Tina, Vicki, Eric, Illia, Carla, Diane, all and the rest of the family. Love you all!
